Poker Whiz Hides From Wife

The identity of a man who won over £250,000 playing Internet poker is shrouded in mystery today, because he fears his wife will get a cut in the divorce courts. The man, a salesman from East Sussex, UK, scooped £261,264.61 after drawing a Royal Flush at Ladbrokes online casino. According to British tabloid, The Sun, ‘Mr X’ started playing less than two weeks ago. He had a couple of wins on the horses and then moved on to poker at £50 per stake. He told them: “It was amazing as it’s the first time I had gone on to the site,” adding, “Don’t tell the missus — I want it all for myself.”

Mr X said that normally he would have loved all the publicity that goes with a big win, but his divorce isn’t finalised. “The last thing I need is a certain person to know there’s a huge amount of money up for grabs,” he explained.
