London welcomes the $1M PrimaPoker.com sponsored Hendon Mob
Two months into their record PrimaPoker.com sponsored world tour 2004, The Mob have already competed in four of their 14 festivals. From the European Finals of Poker at the glamorous Aviation Club de France on the Paris Champs-Elysees, to the LA Poker Classics at the glitzy Commerce Casino, The Hendon Mob has competed against the very finest in their field.
And after spending last week competing at the Vienna Spring Poker Festival, this week sees the Prima Poker Tour bringing The Hendon Mob home to the city of London to compete on home soil at The British Open of Poker commencing Monday March 15th at the Grosvenor, Victoria, London UK.
“The success that we had on the inaugural PrimaPoker.com Tour was incredible and we thought that it may be difficult to sustain such great results, but already early into the 2004 Tour we have had several money finishes. Ross won the British Open Hi-Lo Omaha in yesterday’s final and Ram goes into today’s British Open Stud final as chip leader so it looks like another great week for PrimaPoker.com and The Mob”, says Mobster Joe ‘The Elegance’ Beevers.
And in terms of the partnership between the Hendon Mob and PrimaPoker.com, it’s going from strength to strength. “With four money finishes in Vienna, I would say The Mob is in prime shape to perform well at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino. I know the guys love playing on their home field and we are looking forward to a great tournament from them”, said Tamar Yaniv of PrimaPoker.com.
