Games Movil Signs Deal with Lotto Rwanda
Games Movil, a leading solutions provider for the worldwide mobile and Internet gaming industry, has announced that it has secured a long-term contract to develop Lotto Rwanda’s gaming portfolio.
The deal will see Games Movil installing and operating up to 1,000 sportsbetting locations, in conjunction with Lotto Rwanda, as well as helping to establish the National Lottery in Rwanda.
Johannes Lind, Vice President and Co-Founder of Games Movil said: “This long term agreement to supply, implement and manage of gaming activities in the Rwandan market is an integral step towards fulfilling our strategy of a significant presence throughout East, Central and West Africa.”
Games Movil is set to rollout the first 15 betting shops, operated directly by Lotto Rwanda, from October 12th 2007. The company’s expansion plans will continue throughout Rwanda in 2008 with a further 100 betting shops opened, the launch of a mobile gaming platform and lottery scratch card.
