It’s Game On for L&G Takeover Bid
Leisure & Gaming (L&G), an online gaming and betting firm that operates successful sites such as BetShop.com and its Acropolis-branded online casino, has announced that it has received a buyout offer from Dublin based CGTV Games Limited.
The company has signed an exclusivity agreement with CGTV, a global provider of casino software and slots, until the end of October. Then if all conditions are satisfied it will purchase the entire share capital of L & G for no less than 13 pence per share.
L & G also announced healthy results for the six months to June 30th, 2007, with a 75 percent increase in turnover to €65.4 million and a 44 percent growth in net win to €13.9 million, compared with the same period last year.
