Valley View voted luckiest casino
According to the Southern California Gaming Guide, gamblers have reported being the most lucky when playing at the Valley View casino.
Readers voted for the 2007 Southern California Gaming Reader's Choice Awards, which rated casinos and slot machines across 28 categories.
While Valley View was voted the luckiest casino in south California, the next on the list for gamblers seeking their fortune were Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort and the Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino.
Barona Valley also picked up the prize for the best casino overall, with the Rincon in second and Pechanga Resort and Casino voted third favourite.
Readers also voted the Wheel of Fortune as the best progressive slot machine, with Star Wars and Megabucks the next most popular.
Star Wars also topped the best penny slot category, followed by Fort Knox and Zorro.
"Once again, a record number of Southern California casino players voted to determine the fifth annual Reader's Choice Awards for 2007," said Theon Cross, publisher of southern California's monthly guide. "The 2007 Best of Southern California Gaming reflects the choices of our over 400,000 readers."
