WagerWorks Integrates Online Games

Online gambling software developer WagerWorks/IGT has announced a deal that will see its premium branded games integrated onto UK betting company Sportech’s Orbis Fixed-Odds Games Framework.

Sportech is the owner of Littlewoods Gaming and is to debut some of WagerWorks’ most popular multi-line slots in a phased implementation this month to strengthen its games portfolio. Games such as Cleopatra, Monopoly With Pass ‘Go’ Bonus and Cluedo are to be the first released, UK-based Sportech stated, followed shortly by Wheel Of Fortune Hollywood Edition.

“This is a new and exciting customer contract for WagerWorks,” said Paul Mathews, President for WagerWorks. “The Sportech/Littlewoods brand name and the WagerWorks branded games make a powerful combination. Offering Sportech/Littlewoods players instant access to play premium branded fixed-odds games should prove to be an appealing proposition. WagerWorks is very excited by this new collaboration.”

Sportech stated that the inclusion of premium branded game content is part of its revamp strategy to offer a greater array of games to an increased number of players across their network. Its players on the iGaming network will now have access to these games at GameOn.com and FootballPools.com.

“Following a strategic review, the company is committed to reinvigorating the football pools and games business,” said Ian Penrose, Chief Executive for Sportech. “The partnership with WagerWorks will allow us to give our customers new, dynamic and exciting fixed-odds games, providing a solid platform for growth in a very competitive marketplace.”
