The Oasis Casino’s baseball handicapping contest, Dog Days of Summer, has officially come to an end with Gregory S. awarded the $1000 first prize. The tournament baseball fans to choose from a series of underdog teams and accumulate points based on their results, while competing for a weekly cash prize. The overall winner was the contestant with the most points at the conclusion of the regular season. A complete list of winners can be found at the casinos website.
“Our average customer is an avid sports fan who not only wishes to wager on a variety of sporting events, but test his handicapping prowess against our other clients,” said Randolph Shea, Director of Corporate Communication. “We developed the ‘Dog Days of Summer’ contest in order to give our clients a unique interactive handicapping experience.”
