The owner of the SportXction wagering software, Interactive Systems Worldwide Inc, has announced a licensing deal with Neptune Race and Sports Book Inc that could bear fruit as early as next month.
Neptune currently provides turnkey race and sports wagering systems and services for use in cruise ship and resort casinos. The agreement will see Neptune granted a license for SportXction for the purposes of adding play-by-play wagering to its existing capabilities in current and future casino venues.
Neptune is to operate SportXction from its operations hub in Nevada with Interactive Systems Worldwide receiving a share of the revenues in addition to initial upfront service fees.
America’s Interactive Systems Worldwide stated that November SportXction wagering volume in the UK topped six million dollars, almost meeting October’s figure of $6.2 million.
Subsidiary Global Interactive Gaming Ltd operates SportXction in the UK but the company also revealed that there are discussions now underway with both foreign and domestic companies regarding further partnership deals.
