Gaming VC reports third quarter profits
German-facing online gambling group Gaming VC has revealed improved third quarter results and predicted that it expects to end the year slightly ahead of its previous forecasts.
Gaming VC owns and operates the Casino Club, Betaland and Casino Club Poker online gambling operations, with the number of new accounts increasing by 24 percent for the quarter.
Its third quarter numbers included gross profits of just over $57 million, up from last year’s $54.6 million. In addition, it stated that its casino and poker divisions had remained stable, while its sportsbook operation had generated $9.5 million.
“We continue to believe that our year-end profits will be slightly ahead of market expectations and are confident that the business will continue to grow and diversify away from its core German business during 2008,” said Kenny Alexander, Chief Executive Officer for Gaming VC.
