Slingo celebrate 8 year anniversary
Slingo Inc, a game developing company, is celebrating its 8 year anniversary of the original Slingo brand. The brand was originally launched in 1996 on America Online, with the company then expanding into developing casino slot machines and instant-play lottery tickets. The games Slingo produces are available through their own website, as well as being available throughout US casinos.
The company has formed significant partnerships in the eight years since the launch of their first game, with, among others, America Online, Microsoft, IGT, Caesars Entertainment, Oberthur Gaming Technologies and Real Networks. Plans for the future include making games available via mobile phones, and through the interactive cable television markets. There are also plans to expand their range of games with new offerings, and a game show based on the long lasting and popular Slingo game is being developed.
Sal Falciglia, CEO of the company, said of the company’s achievements: 'We are very pleased that Slingo has become so popular. Our goal is to give people fun and addictive games the whole family can enjoy.' He also believed that one of the greatest achievements for the company is that their signature brand name is highly known, a fact he believes has greatly contributed to the overall success and expansion of the company.
