Irish Poker Open Announce Schedule
Online casino PaddyPowerPoker.com has announced the full timetable for the upcoming 2008 Irish Open including start times for all of the festival’s events.
It all kicks off on March 19 when the Super Satellites for entry into the Main Event begin, which will cost about $479 including registration. This will be followed by the first day of the Main Event, which is to be spread over two days with each day having a capacity for 1,000 players. Day 1A will take place on March 20 with Day 1B starting on Good Friday, March 21.
March 21 will also see the Irish Open Ladies No Limit Hold ‘Em Freezeout, which will also cost $479 to enter, followed by the second official day of the Main Event on March 22.
Those wishing to buy-in direct may do so for just over $6,540 with the minimum payout for winning first place on March 24 being $1.16 million.
The event will also include other side events including a $2,182 No Limit Hold ‘Em Freezeout on March 22 and 23 and a Pot Limit Omaha Rebuy on March 23. There will also be a Double Chance Scalp, starting a little earlier at 3pm on Easter Monday.
PaddyPowerPoker.com stated that it is running two satellite events each week with daily feeders on offer for as little as two dollars for players wishing to qualify for the Main Event online. There is a $320 Super Satellite every Sunday along with a $55 Rebuy Super Satellite every Wednesday with Irish Open packages worth $8,500 including ticket, accommodation and expenses.
