HollywoodPoker.com Boosts Prize Pools
Online casino HollywoodPoker.com has boosted the guarantee on its monthly Grand Tournament by 50 percent to $750,000.
The Kahnawake-licensed site stated that its faith in the potential of the Tournament was bolstered after 846 entrants qualified for the December event and generated a prize pool worth $846,000.
The Grand Tournament is a no-limit hold’em freeze-out competition with a $10,000 starting stack of chips and a 30-minute blind structure. Beginning with three-day heats on the last weekend of each month, players have the option of two starting days with those surviving both heats automatically earning their ticket to the final with the chip stacks from the flights carried over.
To qualify for the Grand Tournament, players can also advance through several daily qualifier tournaments for buy-ins as little as $1.20.
