Ladbrokes Poker Sign Up Jonas 'Nebuchad' Danielsson
In what has already been a good week for Jonas ‘Nebuchad’ Danielsson, the man just voted the Scandinavian Online Player of the Year has been unveiled as the latest player to be sponsored by Ladbrokes Poker.
The 23-year old Swedish player picked up his award this week at an awards ceremony in Copenhagen, Denmark after beating Gus Hansen heads-up following an earlier online poll. Danielsson is known as a cash game specialist, and is currently taking part in the EPT Scandinavian Open, also held in Copenhagen.
Edward Ihre, MD of Ladbrokespoker.com said “We couldn't have wished for better, we've had a brilliant start to 2008, first with our successful Caribbean poker cruise in Jan/Feb and now the award. This is a sign of things to come for Team Ladbrokes.”
Twenty players are playing under the Team Ladbrokes flag at the EPT right now, and the British bookmakers hope to send 100 players over to Las Vegas this summer to take part in the World Series of Poker.
