Parisian Poker Festival at the ACF Announced
Of all the European poker venues, the Aviation Club is one of the most opulent on the continent. The Parisian venue has announced that it will be welcoming its flagship tournament, the Grand Prix de Paris, for it’s tenth anniversary between 14th- 18th May 2008.
The €10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em event was part of the WPT’s schedule between 2002 and 2006, and whilst the sponsors may have changed, the appeal of this major European tournament hasn’t.
The Grand Prix de Paris is the showcase main event of the Rendez-Vous à Paris festival at the club. Previous players to have played at the event include Howard Lederer, Tony G, Erick Lindgren, Roland De Wolfe and Allen Cunningham. The event will be televised live on two French channels.
