TST Opening London Facility
Australian software testing house Technical Systems Testing (TST) has announced that it is to open its newest test facility in London in March to assess the fairness and accuracy of both online and land gambling games.
TST was approved by the UK's Gambling Commission in June and believes that the British gaming market will be closely observed by emerging-market economies working towards developing or reshaping their own gaming technical standards to more accurately address technological advancements.
'We believe that the resultant geographic distribution of our test houses reflects market demand and better meets the needs and wants of our customers internationally,' said John Cargnello, Chief Executive Officer for TST.
The Gambling Commission was established under the Gambling Act of 2005 and has taken over the role previously played by the Gaming Board for Great Britain in regulating casinos, bingo, gaming machines and lotteries. The body is also responsible for regulating betting and remote gambling as well as helping to protect children and vulnerable citizens.
'Satisfying this demand has proven to be a key factor for our success and, in turn, allowed us to undertake this expansion, which I believe will ultimately benefit both the local gaming market and our clients internationally,' said Salim Adatia, Chief Operating Officer for TST.
He stated that the expansion underlines TST's ambition to play an active role in the European gaming market and that, by positioning a testing house in the London borough of Hammersmith, it will be able to enhance the speed and responsiveness of its services.
