Mirage casino's Bare Lounge is back
For those who like to cool off after a heated game of poker, the Mirage casino in Las Vegas is again opening the doors of its Bare Lounge this March.
From 11am to 7pm seven days a week, punters can indulge in some poolside pampering at the Mirage after a hard day or night on the tables.
With two pools and a contemporary atmosphere, casino-goers can listen to a DJ-spun music mix while being waited on as if they were VIPs.
Reclining on private daybeds, cabanas or poolside chaise lounges, gamblers can order from a special food menu or order cocktails.
In the heat of the Nevada desert, staff hand round chilled cucumbers to soothe the eyes, iced towels, exotic frozen fruit, ice lollies, shots of fruit smoothies and chilled mineral water to spritz on their skin.
The privilege of being treated like a celeb is worth between ten and forty dollars, depending on which day you go and your gender - men must pay twice as much as the ladies.
Towering palm trees surround sunbathers so that they can enjoy "European-style sun bathing" in seclusion, the website says, which may be why the Bare Lounge is only open to people at least 21 years of age.
