CryptoLogic Appoint New CEO as Aziz Retires
The Chief Executive Officer for Dublin-based online casino software developer CryptoLogic, Javaid Aziz, has announced his retirement ‘to spend more time with his family’. Crypotlogic have found their new CEO already though, with Brian Hadfield being appointed.
Aziz led the company for just over one year, focusing on renewed profitability in Europe and spearheading the firm’s entry into the Asian market. He achieved four consecutive quarters of sequential growth and made strategic investments and acquisitions in Europe and Asia.
He is succeeded by senior technology executive Brian Hadfield, who joined the company as a director last year after managing major international businesses including operations for Unisys in the UK, Middle East, Africa and India.
'In a dynamic business, it's never an easy time to make a personal decision but I do so with great satisfaction about CryptoLogic's accomplishments and great confidence in its future,' said Aziz.
'CryptoLogic has achieved renewed stability and profitability in the past year and the company is set for continued global growth in the years to come.'

Hadfield has also served as Vice-President of Operations for the Bank of Boston and holds non-executive directorships at various well-known organisations and said he would now relocate to Ireland.
