Tusk Appoints Liquidators
Isle of Man-based turnkey provider Microgaming has issued a public statement advising players that online casino operator Tusk Investment Corporation Ltd has appointed liquidators.
Microgaming recently terminated its gambling software license with the Australia-based operator after it revealed that it was going into liquidation. This followed the suspension of the firm’s Safe and Fair accreditation by private player protection and standards body eCOGRA.
'Microgaming has now been advised that a liquidator has been appointed by Tusk Investments Corporation although the appointment is subject to ratification by the regulatory authorities of Vanuatu, the jurisdiction in which Tusk is incorporated,” read Microgaming’s statement.
'As yet, Microgaming has not been informed how long this ratification process will take but it will provide additional updates on the situation as and when information becomes available.'
