Online casino TitanPoker.com is now holding qualifying satellites for its Eurocity Poker Tour (ECPT) Madrid Open with winners able to receive a prize package worth $3,000.
The ECPT is to have a limited entry field of 200 players and will take place from May 9 to 12 at Madrid’s Casino Gran. TitanPoker.com stated that it would award qualifying players with round-trip airline tickets, accommodation for three nights and dinners for the player and a guest alongside the event’s $1,557 buy-in.
This is the first of many land-based events the Playtech-powered site hopes to sponsor and was sparked by its already huge presence at many existing tournaments.
'At the rate of our expansion and considering the number of players we are sending to tournaments every month, it only makes sense that TitanPoker.com should take it to the next level,' read a statement from the site.
'We are already making a huge presence at these tournaments. Now that TitanPoker.com is the sponsor, it will just be more visible.'
