Online jackpot claimed
A Canadian poker player has scooped prize money approaching $200,000 on a video slot game, Online Casino News reports.
The gambler - a website regular of five years standing - won the rollover prize at the popular website Slotland.com.
Speaking to the news source , the player, known as TEXASTEASER, commented: "I usually stick with video poker.
"I don't know what made me think I should take a spin or two on the slots that day instead, but I’m sure glad I did!"
Site owner Martin Smith added: "It's hard to resist when the jackpot gets to big numbers like that…lots of players play a little more when they feel like there’s going to be a big jackpot winner any second.
"They want it to be them! So we’d been very busy in the days before the win."
The $195,083 prize won by TEXASTEASER is a record total for Slotland.com.
