Punters bet '£1m a day on NetPlay TV'
NetPlay TV's Live Roulette has broken through the £1 million a day revenue barrier for the first time, it has been announced.
The 24/7 television programme experienced that 24-hour boom at the start of April, during a three-day period in which it took £2.91 million in wagers.
"When we acquired the Live Roulette business just over 12 months ago, average daily bets were just over £100,000. To grow this by ten times is a real credit to the entire NetPlay TV team," said NetPlay TV's chief executive Martin Higginson.
He considers the record total to be "another milestone for the business".
As well as Live Roulette, NetPlay TV also operates Big Box Bingo and SuperDraw, which has a £10 million jackpot.
It plans to set-up new shows in the near future including Live Blackjack, which will start airing within the next few months.
