CryptoLogic shares continue to perform well
Shares in CryptoLogic, a software provider to the online gambling industry, have risen further to 825p/share. The company’s financial strength is a reflection of the booming industry as a whole, and their strong performance within it. The software they provide is currently being used in 240 countries, and more than 1 billion transactions have been processed via their software.
The branch of CryptoLogic concerned with the production and supply of software for the casino industry is called WagerLogic. They gained their first client in 1996 and is now the industry’s largest provider. It is largely the technological advancements made by the company which have kept them ahead of competitors leading to such strong share prices as recorded yesterday. Developments made by WagerLogic include introducing the ability to host multi-player games and live chat. They also developed 3D capability which then allowed players to virtually walk through casino sites, making the online gambling experience even closer to real life.
The second branch of Cryptologic products is the software they provide for conducting financial transactions over the internet. Known as Ecash, it is this software that has been used for the billion+ transaction worldwide.
