Boss Media Clinch Austrian Online Casino Deals
Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries have revealed that leading software developer Boss Media has been chosen to supply the network for their new Win2Day.at joint online poker site.
The new room has been established in an attempt to benefit from the boom in regional poker playing and bets on the site are to be limited to just over $1,000 per week per player in an effort to reduce the risk of problem gambling.
The two stated that Win2Day.at would go live during the first quarter of the year using a Boss platform solution delivered in partnership with Sweden’s SvenskaSpel.se, which will provide a safe and secure playing environment covering responsible gaming, customer support and fraud and collusion.
“We are proud that this is the second government-controlled poker network to operate on a Boss Media solution“, said Michael Hallen, Chief Executive Officer for Boss Media.
“We are confident that more government-controlled gaming operators will consider online poker during 2008 and 2009 and we intend to maintain our current strong position in this segment.'
“Poker is still booming in Austria, and we had a 300 percent increase in poker playing guests from our offline poker games in 2007“, said Karl Stoss, General Director for Casinos Austria.
“We hope to capture a substantial part of the Austrian online poker market with our responsible approach just as our colleagues at SvenskaSpel.se did when they launched with Boss Media in 2006.'
